Thank you for your interest in Lake Erie College! The Office of Admissions is here to assist you through the admissons and financial aid process. If you have any specific questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by calling 1.855.GO STORM!

Once the Office of Admissions receives your application and all required documents, we will process your application and you will receive an acceptance decision within two weeks.

To apply for admission, you must submit the application and the following documents:

Master of Business Administration
  • Official transcripts from the college/university which conferred your bachelor's degree and any graduate work to date
  • Current copy of your resume
  • A $150.00 non-refundable reservation deposit is required of all accepted students who wish to reserve a place in the graduate program.
  • A personal statement of up to 500 words that addresses one of the following questions:
    1. Describe a time in your professional or personal life in which you were particularly creative or innovative in solving a problem or creating something new.
    2. Describe your view or philosophy on the role that ethics plays or should play in the workplace.
The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) may be required at the discretion of the dean of the school of business. Students who have taken the GMAT should have all scores forwarded to the Admissions Office.

Master of Education:
  • Official transcripts from the college/university which conferred your bachelor's degree and any graduate work to date
  • Current copy of your resume
  • GMAT or GRE scores may be required
  • M.Ed Students must submit a copy of their teaching license or show proof of ability to obtain a teaching license.
  • A minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.
  • A $150.00 non-refundable reservation deposit is required of all accepted students who wish to reserve a place in the graduate program.
  • *A satisfactory score on the Graduate Record Examination is required for all applicants with less than a 2.75 grade point average in their undergraduate work. A verbal score of 149 and quantitative score of 144 is required.
  • A personal statement of up to 500 words that addresses one of the following questions:
    1. Why are you pursuing an M.Ed.? What specific aspects of the classroom and/or your professional career do you hope will be enhanced by enrolling in the M.Ed. program?
Reading Endorsement Program:
  • Submit a Completed Application for Admission
  • Submit Official transcripts from college/university which conferred your Bachelor's degree and any graduate work to date.
  • Copy of your valid Ohio Teaching License
